Demo essentials : We are very interested in all new artists and writers. All demos are listened and briefly replied to. This might take a while, so please be patient. All replies come in writing, unfortunately we do not give feedback over the phone. Before you send us your demo, make sure to note the following: - Send us three songs. Always put the best song first. Try and evaluate your songs as objectively as possible - the newest song is not necessarily always the best one. We cannot listen to whole albums as demos, so bear in mind the importance of first impressions. If we're interested in you / your songs, we'll contact you and ask for more. - Remember to include contact information: email address, phone number and postal address. - Include at least one photo of the artist. - The best accompanying letter is usually one page long, brief and factual introduction of the artist. The most important thing is the music - you cannot make up lacks in your music with a massive info kit. - You can send your demo either as an audio cd (snail mail), or in mp3 format via email. Please use demot@elementsmusic.fi email address when sending your mp3's. We'll give it all we can when we begin a collaboration with a new artist. It is vital that you're prepared to do the same. Please do not feel down because of any critical feedback - you should take this as a natural part of the career you're pursuing. You can always gain from comments and opinions. It is essential that you have a clear idea of what you are doing. When your charisma is really 'there' we'll be the first to notice!
